Olympus digital cameras are renowned for exceptional, high-quality images better than digital cameras with higher resolution. Olympus' high-quality optics, including a five-element, all-glass aspherical F2.8 autofocus lens and low compression ratios, result in sharp images and vibrant true-color quality.

No Computer Necessary
The new Olympus D-320L can be used with or without a computer. The D-320L features a video out for easy viewing on a TV screen. Images can be videotaped on your VCR to send to relatives and business associates. Users can also create prints directly from the camera with the new Olympus P-300 dye-sublimation printer.

Photographic Controls for Creative Shots
The new Olympus D-320L includes professional-level photographic controls, including three levels of compression, exposure controls, and flash features. The three levels of compression allow flexibility to choose image size and the resulting image capacity. Exposure control allows users to bracket +/- 1 full f-stop for lighting compensation.

Auto Flash with Four Modes
The Olympus D-320L features a sophisticated four-mode flash with "red-eye" reduction, force-fill flash, automatic low-light and back-light mode, and force-off to accommodate most lighting conditions. The camera can capture exciting stop-action shots, such as the finish of a race or a surprise party, at a rate of 9 shots per second.

SmartMedia TM Removable Media
The new Olympus D-320L includes a removable SmartMedia card (also known as SSFDC), to extend your photo-taking capacity. Users have an unlimited capacity, as long as a card is available for more shots. The Olympus 2 MB SmartMedia card can also be reused when images have been saved or printed out.

Panorama Stitching
Panorama stitching allows multiple frames to be stitched together for impressive panoramic views of difficult subjects such as interior photos and landscapes, when even the widest angle lens can't capture an image without distortion. Olympus brand SmartMedia cards and Olympus panorama software allows up to 20 images to make a single large photo.

Ergonomic Design
Olympus excels in camera ergonomics so we designed the D-320L with the consumer in mind. The camera is a lightweight 9 ounces, and compact with 5" (W) x 2.6" (H) x 1.8" (D). The protective lens barrier slides open with one hand, simultaneously turning on the camera. This clever design blocks the viewfinder when closed, so there's no question if the camera is turned on. The camera also has a new large 2-inch smudge-resistant LCD screen.
