third prize in the business class and finished second in photo restoration.
This is the digital technology that she used for the contest, that she uses
at Converse everyday, so that when someone comes in with a request to add a relative
to a group picture, put together a torn photo, or even make a portrait from a driver's
license, she can make it happen.
In a national Kodak and Management Graphics, Inc. sponsored contest
Jann Macomber won best of show with this image of her father. He had recently
passed away, and she used the technology that she utilizes at Converse Photo
Supply, the very business she learned from him, as a memorial and reflection
upon his life.
Regarding this years competition, it was an extra special win because the subject matter,
like with so many people, was photography that was so close to the Jann's heart.
